Betty Boop Memorabilia!
The brainchild of animation legend Max Fleischer, this sexy cartoon flapper graced the silver screen in films from 1930 to 1939. Her King Features Syndicate cartoon ran 112 strips from 1934 to 1939. Boop's trademark high-pitched voice was lent by Mae Questel who joined Fleischer in 1931 and remained as the voice of Boop until 1931. Toys and dolls began to be crafted in Boop's image in the 1930s and she enjoyed a renaissance of sorts in the 1980s, when her cartoons returned to television, along with added color.
It is 11" x 14", bevel-cut double matted, framed under glass and ready to hang. The 8" x 10" photo is offset with an additional 4" x 6" photo, and coupled with a bio that lists pertinent facts.
